Civil Society Organizations

The primary mandate of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) is to ensure an effective participation of the people of Africa in the AU decision and policy-making process, provide a platform for the voices of African citizens, civil society and diaspora. This is deemed crucial to the success and effectiveness of the mandate of the PAP. 
Deliberate efforts are made in the form of co-organization of workshops, convening of a Civil Society Forum and invitation of Civil Society’s technical presentations to various Permanent Committees.
