Migration is on the rise on the African continent, and is both voluntary and forced within and outside national borders, is diverse with regard to migration circuits relating to origin, transit, and destination and includes both regular and irregular forms of migration, refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). For some communities, migration has become a survival strategy.
