On behalf of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), the Bureau extends well wishes to all Muslims in Africa and around the world, as Ramadan begins this week.
The PAP calls on all Muslims to use the holy period of Ramadan, characterized by fasting and prayer, to promote compassion and solidarity for the less fortunate, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Pan-African Parliament also appeals to all of them to pray for God to guide Africa and the world in the fight against this invisible enemy.
May the month of Ramadan be one of peace and happiness for our Muslim brothers and sisters.
